Dr. Emmanuel Bekee (fcida)
Chairman
Dr. Bekee is an astute geologist with over 36 years’ operations and regulatory experience in the Oil and gas industry. He is also a member of the board of directors and vice president, Subsurface at Belema Oil Producing limited Port-Harcourt Nigeria. Until his retirement in February 2017, Dr. Bekee worked at The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) (now called Nigerian Upstream Petroleum regulatory Commission NUPRC) Nigeria and was the pioneer head of deep offshore projects. He retired at the position of deputy director and head of upstream monitoring & regulations where he was responsible for overseeing all upstream activities of international oil companies (IOC), national oil companies and marginal field operators in compliance with the federal government policies and regulations.
Between 2010 and 2014, Dr. Bekee represented DPR as a member of the governing council for the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB). He has sat as panel member at several technical sessions of major oil and gas conferences around the world. One of such is the 21st world petroleum congress which held in Russia.
Dr. Bekee graduated from the University of Port-Harcourt with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Petroleum Exploration from the University of Trondheim, Norway. He is a fellow of the Civilian Institute of Democratic Administration, a member of the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorations (NAPE) and the Nigeria Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS).
Mr. Wada Obaje

Mr. W.A. Obaje is currently the chairman / CEO of Avokee Petroleum Limited. He graduated in geology from Ahmadu Bello University, and joined the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation as a Senior Geologist in 1980 with a posting to the Regulatory arm of the Organization – the then Department of Petroleum Resources now called the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory commission (NUPRC). As the officer-in-charge of Basinal Assessment, Mr. Obaje transformed the data availability in the sedimentary basins of Nigeria for proper evaluation particularly in the Niger Delta-on shore, continental shelf, Benin Basin and the Deep offshore, by initiating the provision of speculative data in 1990/1991.
Mr. Obaje attained the climax of his career in the regulatory arm of the oil and gas industry vised his appointment as the Director of the Department of Petroleum Resources in 2010. He successfully managed the Regulatory arm of the Oil and Gas industry until he meritoriously retired from Service in 2012, having attained the statutory number of years in service. In effect he has over thirty five years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), member and Fellow of the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (FNAPE), member and Fellow of the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (FNMGS).
Mr. Charles Kpandei

Mr. Charles Kpandei has over two decades management- level Commercial banking experience covering operations, credit and marketing, Finance, projects management, Human Resources management and Administration. He is the founding Chairman of Berachah Microfinance Bank and a director of several companies and Non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
He graduated from the University of Benin, Nigeria with a degree in Accounting in June 1984 and also an Alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School Advance Management Program ( AMP 15) and also an Alumnus of IESE Business School Advance Management Program in Barcelona, Spain. He has attended a number of other top level local and overseas trainings.
Charles is also the chairman of the Bonmenbari Leadership foundation and convener of the Annual Lagos Leadership Conference (LLC). He is involved in Leadership consultancy and training.
